This popular trio continue to explore the delights of traditional and contemporary folksong. They instil their particular flare for harmony and enthusiastic performance making each song a joy to hear. They generate good humour together with informed understanding of the song subjects.

George Critchley has been a driving force in the Lancashire folkscene for thirty years. His distinctive singing style and guitar playing enlivens many sessions, singarounds and is a boon to Th’Antique Roadshow.

Rob Malaney is the songwriter of the group. His songs have a traditional feel about them, his most popular song is Breathe With Me, and many are being absorbed into the tradition. Rob is often seen in the local folk clubs and sessions around Preston and Chorley, making his contribution to the evening with traditional and self-penned songs.

Nick Caffrey is considered one of the finest unaccompanied singers in the North West of England. He has extensive knowledge of traditional songs and ballads. Nick co-presented The Lancashire Drift on BBC Radio Lancashire with Nick Dow for over eight years and now makes free-lance programmes. He also makes regular contributions to The Living Tradition magazine.
