Both appear at the Grove regularly, but not always together!
Tom Bliss solo, and from time to time drops in to see a guest or join us for a Singers Night; and Tom Napper has appeared with Martin Clarke (Sept 2007), and seen in session at the Irish Night! (Feb 2008)
Tonight they join forces again, a formidable duo.

A local duo. Tom Napper sings, playing tenor banjo, mandolin, octave mandolin, and tenor guitar, Tom Bliss sings, plays guitar, mandocello, tenor fiddle, whistle, duet concertina, etc.

Tom Napper is one of the most highly respected traditional musicians in the

) and a lovely singer. He᾿s
performed and recorded over the past 25 years with Tom McConville, Gordon
Tyrrall, Jez Lowe, Alistair Russell, Tony Wilson, Rob van Sante, Gina le Faux
and now Ciaran Boyle and Dave Kosky in The Idle Road.
